INHS CEO Tom Fritz to retire

.

September 4, 2014
Staff Report

Inland Northwest Health Services CEO Tom Fritz will retire at the end of this year, the organization announced today.

Fritz, 62, has served as CEO of INHS for 16 years. The organization, which operates St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute, Northwest MedStar, and other health-care entities, has more than 1,000 employees and had more than $200 million in gross revenues last year.

Ron Wells, INHS board chairman, said in a press release, “Tom has led INHS with a strong conviction of doing what is right for the customer, the patient, and the community. His commitment to quality, collaboration, and innovation has propelled the organization and positions INHS to continue to be a significant community asset for the region into the future.”

In the release, INHS said its board and its parent organization, Providence Health Care, will evaluate the CEO position and determine their next steps. Meantime, the INHS executive team members will continue to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of their respective divisions once Fritz steps down.
