The Spokane Home Builders Association will hold its Builder's Hall of Fame gala and reception on Thursday, July 19 at 5:30 p.m., at the Davenport Hotel, 10 S. Post. Spokane Mayor David Condon will be the keynote speaker, and Spokane City Councilwoman Nancy McLaughlin will be master of ceremonies. Jim Frank and Bob Tomlinson will be honored. Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold a business connections breakfast on Friday, July 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m., at Mirabeau Park Hotel & Convention Center, 1100 N. Sullivan. The program will be a panel discussion with three candidates running for Spokane County Commissioner: Rob Chase, Shelly O'Quinn, and Daryl Romeyn.
