The Washington state Secretary of State's corporations and charities division is holding a free Charities and Nonprofit Education Symposium on Wednesday, May 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Spokane Falls Community College, 3410 W. Fort George Wright Drive. Speakers will include representatives of the Secretary of State office, the Department of Revenue, the Washington Liquor Control Board, the state Gambling Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, and Washington Attorneys Assisting Community Organizations.
