The Spokane Valley Fire Department says it plans to begin construction early next year on a new administrative building that's estimated to cost about $3 million. The 22,000-square-foot building will be located adjacent to Fire Station No. 8, at 2110 N. Wilbur. The department says it has outgrown its current administrative offices located inside Station No. 1, at 10319 E. Sprague.
