The north and east exteriors of Whitworth University's new $32 million science building appear close to being completed, with crews recently focused on installing windows there. The three-story, 63,000-square-foot building is being constructed at the north end of the Presbyterian school's North Side campus, and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2011. Spokane-based Bouten Construction Co. is the general contractor on the project.
