Westslope Properties sets up forest-tract sales offices in Cd'A, Colville

April 8, 2010
Mike McLean

Westslope Properties Inc. says it has launched two real estate brokerages in the Inland Northwest that specialize in selling forested land owned and managed by its parent company, Boston-based Forest Capital Partners LLC,

Forest Capital is an investment firm that owns timberlands throughout North America, including 550,000 acres of land in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.

One of the two new offices is in Coeur d'Alene, and the other is in Colville Wash. Kevin Boling, Westslope's western director of land transactions, is the broker for the Coeur d'Alene office, which is located at 687 W. Canfield, and Bob Anderson is the broker in the Colville office.

Westslope also has offices in Medford, Monmouth, and LaGrande, Ore.

"We believe North Idaho and Eastern Washington are once again on the cusp of some incredible growth and progress," Boling says in a press release.

Boling says Westslope markets the land to prospective buyers who desire forested land for recreation, timber, and home sites.

The Coeur d'Alene office employs three people, including him, he says.

Boling says he and the Coeur d'Alene office's associate broker, Jim Limieux, both are experienced foresters.

"As brokers and foresters, we can convey information about property history, timber quality, recreational possibilities, and forest-management potential," he says. "That makes for a more detailed, seamless transaction process."
