Comcast opens South Hill Xfinity store

September 3, 2024
Journal of Business Staff

Comcast Corp., the Philadelphia-based cable, internet, and phone provider, has opened a new Xfinity store on Spokane's South Hill, its third in the Spokane area.

The new store is located in a multitenant retail building at 2525 E. 29th, just east of the Safeway supermarket located on the northeast corner of 29th Avenue and Southeast Boulevard.

Comcast's other Spokane-area Xfinity stores are located at 4423 N. Division, on the North Side, and at 13826 E. Indiana, in Spokane Valley.

Jack Follman, Comcast's Everett, Washington-based external communications manager, says the South Hill store employs 11 people, and the company has more than 100 employees in the Spokane area overall.

Comcast states in a press release that it has invested $1.1 billion in technology and infrastructure upgrades in Washington state over the past three years.
