Wade Hunt has been named president of MultiCare Deaconess and Valley hospitals, replacing Greg Repetti, who had held the position since 2020 until retiring in October.

Hunt, who will assume his new role Feb. 10, has been with MultiCare since 2017, serving in multiple leadership positions.

For the last three years, Hunt was president of MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute. Prior to that, he spent four years as Deaconess Hospital's chief operating officer.

Hunt will be responsible for the overall performance of Deaconess and Valley hospitals. He will report to Alex Jackson, senior executive for MultiCare's Inland Northwest region.

“He is an experienced leader with a performance-focused mindset and a values-inspired approach," Jackson says in a press release.

Hunt earned a Bachelor of Arts in English degree from University of Utah and a Master of Health Administration degree from Saint Louis University.
