February 28, 2025
Journal of Business Staff

Amarillo, Texas-based Bruckner’s Truck & Equipment has acquired Transport Equipment Inc., a Missoula, Montana-based truck dealer with a location in Spokane Valley.

With its new Valley location, at 5615 E. Third, as well as dealerships in Lewiston, Idaho and Missoula, Bruckner’s now operates 41 locations across 10 states.

“We are pleased to expand our presence in the Pacific Northwest and continue the legacy built by the Bidlake family,” says Brian Bruckner, the company’s president, in a press release.

Transport Equipment was founded in 1983 by Steve and Betty Bidlake.

The Spokane Valley location, which now operates under the Bruckner's name, has 28 full-time employees, according to a survey for the Journal’s upcoming Heavy-Equipment Dealers list.

The Valley location will continue operating under the same schedule with no changes to contact information.

Bruckner’s was founded in 1932. Representing Mack and Volvo brands, Bruckner’s is a provider of trucks, trailers, parts, and services.
