A new Grocery Outlet store is scheduled to open in Post Falls next week.

Located at 2588 N. Highway 41, the Post Falls Grocery Outlet is scheduled for a grand opening event at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 27.

Independently owned by Steve and Sarena Mayer, the 16,000-square-foot Grocery Outlet store will serve as the anchor tenant for a $20 million development, dubbed North Point Plaza, located near the northeast corner of Idaho Route 41 and Poleline Avenue.

The Post Falls Grocery Outlet will be the seventh in the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene area, with two in Spokane and one each in Spokane Valley, Cheney, Airway Heights, and Coeur d'Alene.

Based in Emeryville, California, Grocery Outlet and its subsidiaries have more than 520 stores in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, California, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Nevada, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Georgia, Ohio, Alabama, Delaware, Kentucky, and Virginia.
