Hello Sugar doughnut shop opens in Kendall Yards

-

June 7, 2018

Hello Sugar LLC, a new doughnut shop, has opened at 419 N. Nettleton, in the Kendall Yards neighborhood.

The business is co-owned by local couple Amy Pruchnic and her husband Ramsey, who is an entrepreneur and president of Strategy Lab LLC, a Spokane marketing and advertising agency.

Hello Sugar shares a 1,150-square-foot space with Indaba Coffee Roasters.

Pruchnic says she and her husband are longtime friends of Indaba Coffee Roaster’s owner Bobby Enslow and his wife, Sheena.

Hello Sugar’s menu features small, made-to-order doughnuts in seven main flavors, along with one rotating seasonal flavor.

Rather than frosting and sprinkles, Pruchnic says each doughnut features a kind of glittery sugar surface.

Pruchnic says Hello Sugar has seven employees and already is working to plan a second location.

“We’d really like to open another shop, most likely somewhere in Spokane Valley,” she says.
