BSN Sports moves to Riverwalk Building

-

Sports apparel and equipment distributor BSN Sports LLC is moving its operations here to a new location in the Riverwalk Building, at 1007 E. Trent.

A division of Varsity Brands, BSN is a Dallas-based company that supplies college athletics, middle, and high school teams and recreational programs nationwide via catalog, e-commerce, and direct sales.

Last April, the company acquired Kimmel Athletic Supply Co., the longtime Spokane-based athletic supplier that was headquartered in a two-story, 25,000-square-foot building at 202 E. Mission.

BSN Sports is scheduled to move this week into the 11,700-square-foot space at Riverwalk, which it is leasing from Spokane real estate and development company MGD at GU LLC, says Erik Nelson, a Kiemle Hagood commercial real estate broker involved in the lease negotiations.

Nelson represented BSN Sports in the transaction, and Mark McLees, of NAI Black, represented the landlord.

BSN Sports couldn’t be reached immediately for comment on the move.
