Express Employment moves North Idaho office

Company takes larger space in Coeur d'Alene

July 6, 2017
Mike McLean

The North Idaho office of staffing recruitment and placement company Express Employment Professionals has moved to Coeur d’Alene from Post Falls.

The office, which is a franchise of the Oklahoma City-based company of the same name, now is located in a single-story multitenant building at 2834 N. Ramsey Road, in the Crossroads Coeur d’Alene Retail Center.

The North Idaho office had been located in a building it shared with the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce, at 201 E. Fourth, in central Post Falls.

Aaron Borg, the lead staffing consultant at the franchise, says the Coeur d’Alene office specializes in light-industrial, professional, office, and service staffing.

Borg says he’s seeing an increase in employment across most sectors.

Current job postings at the Coeur d’Alene office include positions in the construction, health care, manufacturing, and hospitality industries.

Some job openings are temporary positions, and some could lead to permanent placement. Others are direct permanent-placement opportunities, Borg says.

With Kootenai County’s low unemployment rate, it sometimes can be challenging for a staffing agency to find skilled candidates, he says.

“We do a lot of recruiting locally, and we recruit people who are open to relocation opportunities,” he says. “I just recruited someone from Central Washington for inside sales and one master technician from California.”

Express Employment, which has had a North Idaho presence for 14 years, has a staff of eight employees.

“We’ve continued to grow year over year,” he asserts.

Express Employment has more than 760 franchise offices, according to the company’s website, and eight offices in Idaho.

The company also has 23 offices in Washington, including one in Spokane, at 331 W. Main.
