Spokane HVAC company opens North Idaho office

R&R Heating leases space in Hayden for satellite, moves five workers there

Spokane-based R&R Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. has opened a satellite office in North Idaho.

Randy Hastings, owner of R&R Heating, says five employees work out of the 1,200-square-foot space at 9030 N. Hess, in Hayden.

"I felt the need to have an office for the work we do over there," Hastings says.

The company is based in Spokane's Hillyard area, at 5202 N. Florida, where it occupies 19,000 square feet of space. It has a total of 45 employees, Hastings says. R&R Heating consolidated its operations at the Florida Street location in 2009 after expanding its complex there and moving training, warehouse, office and showroom operations from another Hillyard location.

R&R Heating's business has been rising lately on both sides of the state line.

"I started saying six months ago that we've gone from surviving to thriving," Hastings says.

R&R was busier before the recession, he says, but "It's OK now. We're just moving forward and going after work."

Founded by Hastings in 1985, R&R provides heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning services.
