A Spokane group is considering redeveloping the Evergreen Parking and Warehouse complex at 125 S. Stevens downtown, a SEPA checklist on file with the city shows.
The project would involve remodeling a five-story building at the southeast corner of the intersection Stevens Street and Railroad Alley, the documents show. The project also would include demolishing an adjoining two-level parking structure, and replacing it with a 55-stall surface parking lot.
State tax records show Evergreen Parking and Warehouse LLC, of Spokane, acquired the property in July of 2015 for $1.2 million.
Preliminary site plans call for remodeling 6,000 square feet of the main building into office spaces, with a max capacity of 60 occupants per each of its five floors. Plans also include cleaning and restoring the building’s façade.
The two-story, 17,000-square-foot parking structure that is to be demolished is on the north side of the main five-story building. Plans also call for tearing down a covered loading dock area on the east side of the complex and a separate garage located on the southeast portion of the property. The project is still in predevelopment stages, with no estimated cost or contractor selected.
