Cd'A optometry practice moves to relocate to Riverstone

Ironwood Vision Center to more than double space

July 28, 2016
Mike McLean

Daniel Garn, owner of Elite Eyecare PC, which does business as Ironwood Vision Center, has bought a 5,100-square-foot office building in the Riverstone mixed-use development in Coeur d’Alene and plans to move the practice there in September.

The single-story building, at 2141 N. Merritt Creek Loop, formerly was occupied by Pinkerton Retirement Specialists LLC, before Pinkerton developed and moved into its new building in Riverstone.

Garn says the structure will have space for six treatment rooms, offices for two providers, and an optical lens lab.

Ironwood Vision Center currently occupies 2,000 square feet of leased space with two treatment rooms at 101 W. Ironwood Drive.

Garn is the single provider at the practice, which has a support staff of six employees. He says he plans to expand the practice with a second provider and additional support staff within about a year.

Garn has owned the practice for 10 years, having taken over from a retiring provider who founded Ironwood Vision Center in 1994.

The practice will continue to operate under the Ironwood Vision Center name at the Riverstone location, he says.

Coeur d’Alene brokers Craig Hunter and Rob Kannapien, both of Coldwell Banker Commercial Schneidmiller Realty, negotiated the Riverstone property transaction.

Office

Hart Capital Management Inc., a Spokane-based investment adviser, has leased 1,800 square feet of space for a Coeur d’Alene office on the main floor of McEuen Terrace, at 701 E. Front. Casey Brazil and Shawn McMahon, both of Kiemle & Hagood Co., handled the transaction. Hart Capital’s Spokane office is in the Chase Financial Center, at 601 W. Main.

Hand Therapy Advantage LLC, a new practice, has leased 2,000 square feet of office space in the Washington Federal Building, at 5322 N. Division, where it plans to open a clinic in September. Jim Quigley and Erik Nelson, both of Kiemle & Hagood Co., and Chris Lowry, of Coldwell Banker Tomlinson South, handled the transaction.

PHQ Wireless Inc., an Omaha, Neb.-based telecommunications carrier, has leased 1,500 square feet of space for a new Post Falls office in the Highland Crossing shopping center at 3904 E. Mullan. Pat Eberlin, of Kiemle & Hagood Co., and Stephen Pohl, of NAI Black, handled the transaction.

Retail

Accent Floors & Design Inc., of Coeur d’Alene, has leased 7,900 square feet of retail space at 6005 N. Sunshine, in Coeur d’Alene, and plans to move there from smaller quarters at 235 W. Sunset. Craig Hunter and Rob Kannapien, both of Coldwell Banker Commercial Schneidmiller Realty, and Pat Eberlin and Josh Beebe, both of Kiemle & Hagood Co., negotiated the lease.

Investment

Bona Vista Manufactured Home Community LLC, of Otis Orchards, has bought as an investment the Bona Vista Mobile Home Park, at 21725 E. Wellesley. James S. Black III, of NAI Black, and Tim Kestell and Casey Brazil, both of Kiemle & Hagood Co., handled the transaction.
