Farmgirlfit opens gym in Cd'A, its second in all

Farmgirlfit, a Spokane-based women’s fitness club, has opened a gym in North Idaho, says Jaunessa Walsh, Farmgirlfit co-owner and fitness coach.

The second Farmgirlfit gym is located in a retail center at 2930 N. Government Way in Coeur d’Alene.

Jeni Davaz, a longtime Farmgirlfit member turned coach, is managing the new fitness center, Walsh says.

Farmgirlfit fitness programs provide personalized training in a group setting for women of all fitness levels, she says.

The Coeur d’Alene gym, like the original Farmgirlfit gym, located at 128 S. Sherman east of downtown Spokane, offers one-hour cross-training workouts, which include weight lifting, running, jumping, pushing, pulling, climbing, and occasionally flipping a tractor tire, Walsh says.

Farmgirlfit has served nearly 800 members since five Gonzaga University graduates founded the gym three years ago, focusing on fitness, nutrition, and community.
