Valley Chamber CEO to step down

.

June 30, 2014
Staff Report

Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce CEO Eldonna Shaw announced this morning in a letter to members that she will leave the Chamber at the end of July.

Shaw, who has served as CEO for 13 years, said in the letter that she had been planning to leave the Chamber at the end of the year, but she has decided to leave earlier so that a new executive potentially can be in place before the organization starts its planning and budgeting process in September.

With her husband, Larry Davis, Shaw owns a consulting practice, and she says upon leaving the Chamber, she will consult, coach, and teach, while working on some other projects. She says the consulting practice is a member of the Chamber, and she will remain active in the organization as a member and a volunteer.

Located at 1421 N. Meadowwood Lane in Liberty Lake, the Valley Chamber has a membership representing 720 members with a combined workforce of about 28,400 people, largely located in the cities of Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, and Millwood.
