Jubilant HollisterStier Contract & Manufacturing Services, the Spokane-based sterile allergy product maker, says it has launched an analytical services unit that's geared toward providing additional testing capabilities at its facilities located here and in Montreal.

Shannon Jordan, marketing manager for Jubilant HollisterStier Contract & Manufacturing Services, says the company recognized a need in its client base for additional testing capabilities, since some tests required clients to outsource to other labs.

"We realized we could fill that need in Spokane and keep all of those services with one provider," Jordan says.

The new analytical services unit aims to provide raw materials testing; release testing; microbiology testing; laboratory method development and validation; impurities testing; and stability testing and storage. Jordan says the new testing capabilities are in addition to a number of tests currently provided by the company.

No additional space will be needed to accommodate the new testing.

Jubilant HollisterStier is a subsidiary of Jubilant Life Sciences, a life sciences and pharmaceutical company based in India. It currently employs about 550 people in Spokane and has a 191,000-square-foot facility at 3525 N. Regal.
