The Spokane office of Northeast Washington Home Health, which provides in-home health care services to a large area here, has changed its name and now is operating as Assured Home Health.
A press release issued about the name change said the home health agency, which has offices at 521 S. Bernard, will continue to provide the same full-service care as before, in cooperation with three Inland Northwest sister agencies.
Those agencies are a Northeast Washington Home Health office in Chewelah, an Assured Home Health office in Moses Lake, and a North Idaho Home Health office in Coeur d'Alene. Collectively, the four agencies employ about 100 people.
All four are operated by LHC Group Inc., a Lafayette, La.-based provider of post-acute care services, and Assured Home Health is part of LHC.
All four Inland Northwest locations are Medicare-certified home health agencies, providing home health services that include skilled nursing; physical, occupational, and speech therapy; and social services.
