BNBuilders relocates office here to Valley, adds space

Seattle-based contractor now employs 30 people from location on Indiana

Seattle-based BNBuilders Inc., which provides general contractor services, has relocated its Spokane office to larger quarters in Spokane Valley.

The regional office, which serves its clients in Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana, moved mid-March into about 2,000 square feet of leased space at 15920 E. Indiana, just east of Sullivan Road near Interstate 90. It formerly was in smaller quarters at 505 W. Riverside, where BNBuilders' first opened a Spokane-area office in April 2010.

Joe Bash, a BNBuilders principal who oversees the office, says the Spokane Valley operation employs 30 people, most of whom work remotely at construction project sites. The Valley office has room for the company to expand at its new location as needed in the future, Bash adds.

"By the end of 2011, our management team came to the realization that Spokane was the place to headquarter our Inland Northwest operations, so we started moving in that direction," Bash says.

BNBuilders provides general contractor and preconstruction services. It handles new construction as well as tenant improvements for higher education, health care, biotechnology, retail, mixed-use, and commercial clients.

The company's recently completed projects in Spokane include construction of the Spokane Falls Community College's science building and its music and performing arts building renovation.

Currently, BNBuilders is working at the Pullman campus of Washington State University on the $22.6 million renovation and expansion of two of its oldest dormitories, Duncan-Dunn and Community halls.

In addition to Seattle and Spokane, BNBuilders has offices in the San Francisco area, San Diego, and Montana. It has more than 200 employees in all.
