Century 21 Beutler & Associates, a prominent Coeur d'Alene-based real estate brokerage, has closed its Liberty Lake office and has moved its agents that were based there to other offices.

Ann Beutler, who co-owns Beutler & Associates with her husband John, says 21 agents have transferred from the former Liberty Lake office to Spokane mostly, although some also are licensed in Idaho and work out of Beutler Associates' flagship office, at 1836 Northwest Boulevard, in Coeur d'Alene.

"With the current market, we just felt it would bring more energy to central locations to cover the whole area," she says.

Beutler & Associates' Spokane office occupies 8,800 square feet of office space in the AmericanWest Bank Building, at 41 W. Riverside downtown, where a total of 53 agents now are based.

The franchise handles residential, commercial, and waterfront real estate divisions at the downtown office.

Beutler & Associates owns the 12,000-square-foot single story building that it vacated at 1328 N. Whitman Lane, in Liberty Lake. H2E Inc., an engineering firm, and Business Cents LLC, a business consulting and outsource bookkeeping firm, lease portions of that building, Beutler says.

Beutler & Associates is looking to lease the Liberty Lake building entirely or sell it, she says.
