Orthotics building rises east of downtown - Art only

Meridian Construction Inc., of Spokane Valley, is building a $2 million, 12,400- square-foot structure, at 401 S. Sherman, that will be the new home of Spokane-based Thompson Custom Orthotics & Prosthetics Inc. Smart Spaces by Design LLC and CSQA Inc., both of Boise, designed the project, which will have more than twice the floor space Thompson leases at its current location, at 502 E. Fifth.
