The Bargain Hunter, a new and used sporting goods franchise, has leased 9,000 square feet of floor space in the former Kmart building, at 15303 E. Sprague, for a retail outlet. Dennis Beringer, of Byrd Real Estate Group LLC, handled the transaction.



Liberty Tax Service/Spokane has leased 1,350 square feet of floor space at 10117 N. Division for a new branch. Guy Byrd and Michael Dullanty, both of Cornerstone Property Advisors LLC, handled the transaction.



Paul C. Jones PLLC, doing business as InStep Foot & Ankle, a Spokane Valley podiatrist practice, has leased 1,800 square feet of floor space in the Redwood Plaza, at 11707 E. Sprague, and has moved there from 1005 N. Pines Road. Kevin Edwards and Jeff McGougan, both of NAI Black, and Bill Butler, of WEB Properties Inc., handled the transaction.



A & B Motors, a Spokane Valley automotive repair service, has leased 2,400 square feet of floor space at 18405 E. Appleway, and plans to move there from larger quarters at 14811 E. Sprague. Doug Byrd, of Byrd Real Estate Group LLC, handled the transaction.



Cheney Public Schools has bought 20 acres of land east of Sixth Street, one block north of Cheney High School and just south of Cheney Middle School. The district plans to hold onto the parcel for possible future expansion of the high school's athletic facilities. Mitch Swenson, of NAI Black, handled the transaction.



Spokane-based Walker's Furniture Inc. has leased 10,000 square feet of floor space in the Spokane Business & Industrial Park, at 3808 N. Sullivan, for storage of retail furniture and accessories. Dean Stuart, of Crown West Realty LLC, handled the lease.
