Sonrise Land LLC, of Spokane, has bought the 7,500-square-foot, three-story Jockey Club building, at 114 N. Washington, as an investment. Greg Byrd, of Byrd Real Estate Group, and Grant Person, of NAI Black, handled the transaction.



JJ's Pen Place LLC, a Spokane Valley writing instrument maker, has leased 2,300 square feet of floor space for retail and fabrication operations in the Eagle Plaza, at 14415 E. Sprague, and has moved the former home-based business there. Earl Engle and Carlos Herrera, both of NAI Black, handled the transaction.



Asset Planning & Management Inc., of Spokane, has leased 2,400 square feet of office space on the seventh floor of the U.S. Bank Building, at 422 W. Riverside, and plans to move there from smaller quarters on the eighth floor of that building. Michael Mathis, of Kiemle & Hagood Co., and Vic Overholser, of SDS Realty Inc., handled the transaction.



Spokane Bath Systems LLC, doing business as a franchise of Tempe, Ariz.-based Re-Bath LLC, has leased 5,500 square feet of floor space at 1419 N. Thierman for a new bathroom remodeling outlet. Vic Overholser, of SDS Realty Inc., and Kevin Guthrie, of NAI Black, handled the transaction.



N & Out Coffee Espresso, a Spokane coffee stand, has leased 500 square feet of floor space at 921 E. Houston. Joe Ward, of Pinnacle Realty, handled the lease transaction.



The Law Office of Derek W. Madel PLLC has bought a 7,200-square-foot building at 907 W. Sharp and plans to move there from smaller quarters at 310 W. Indiana. Don Jamieson, Carlos Herrera, and Mark McLees, all of NAI Black, handled the transaction.



Acceptance Capital Mortgage, a Spokane Valley-based real estate finance company, has leased 1,400 square feet of floor space in the Grand Office Park, at 1403 S. Grand. Marc Mowrer, of Kiemle & Hagood Co., and Rocky White, of Coldwell Banker Northwest Group, handled the transaction. Acceptance Capital has four other Spokane-area locations, at 501 E. Sprague, 113 E. Magnesium, 1280 E. Nora, and 2427 W. Smyth.

The city of Spokane has bought 1.8 acres of land that includes the former Kar Brite car wash site, at 902 E. Sprague, for future development as part of its storm-water system. Mark McLees and Mark Davis, both of NAI Black, handled the transaction.
