Medical-dental office project under way near Manito Park

Work on two buildings expected to be completed in about seven months

Jamesee LLC, of Spokane, is developing a medical-dental office complex at the northeast corner of 20th Avenue and Grand Boulevard, just east of Manito Park on Spokanes South Hill.

Construction already is under way on the nearly $1 million project, which will include two, 3,500-square-foot buildings with space for a total of four offices, says Paul Harrington, associate principal at Spokane-based OMS Inc., which designed the project.

The site, which previously was occupied by three single-family homes and two garages, is across 20th Avenue to the north from a condo project that a group led by Spokane developer Rob Brewster has proposed.

Work on the shells of the office buildings is expected to be completed by May, and tenant improvements should be wrapped up by August, says Mark Wrenn, who co-owns Jamesee LLC with his brother, Greg, and is marketing the project. Jamesee hasnt signed leases with any tenants for the complex yet, he says.

Marsh Construction Inc., of Spokane, is the general contractor for the project, and MJM Grand Inc., of Spokane, did the site work, Wrenn says. Coastal Community Bank, of Everett, Wash., is financing the project.
