Northpointe Office Building LLC, a development company headed by prominent Spokane developer Dick Vandervert, hopes to start work within 90 days on a new, $10 million office building on Spokanes North Side.
The three-story, 102,000-square-foot building, for which Vandervert first announced plans about two years ago, is to be built on a 6.2-acre parcel at 609 E. Holland, across the street from Vandervert Construction Inc.s offices and behind the Northpointe Plaza shopping center. It has attracted a handful of tenants and currently is scheduled to be completed in April of 2000, Vandervert says.
The types of businesses that have agreed to lease space in the building include a dental practice, a law firm, and an accounting firm. The planned brick-and-glass structure is to be called the Northpointe Office Building.
The buildings specifications have changed some since the project was announced in April 1997. Originally, it was to be a four-story office building with 90,000 square feet of space, which would have been a $9 million project.
Russell Page Architects, of Spokane, designed the building, and Vandervert Construction will be the general contractor on the project.
