What drives/inspires you? I love health care. It is complex but incredibly special. We are a team serving people in some of their most important life moments.

What advice would you have for others looking to follow a career path similar to yours? Remember your why and work with others to make a positive impact.

Do you have a favorite quote? “There is a point in every contest when sitting on the sidelines is not an option.”—Dean Smith

If you had one wish for Spokane, what would it be? All people in our community feel safe, connected, and fulfilled.

As chief executive of MultiCare Health System’s Inland Northwest Region, Alex Jackson oversees MultiCare Deaconess Hospital, MultiCare Valley Hospital, and MultiCare Rockwood Clinic.

Jackson stepped into the chief executive position after serving as president and chief operating officer of Spokane’s second largest health care system.

Jackson, who grew up in Missoula, Montana, has over 25 years of experience in health care administration, including four years as chief executive of Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Providence Holy Family Hospital.

He currently serves on boards for Second Harvest and Health Sciences and Services Authority of Spokane County.
