Local entrepreneur and real estate developer Kevin Rudeen has been building large Spokane complexes since the 1980s.
Rudeen is the owner of Liberty Lake-based Rudeen Development LLC and Rudeen Mangement Co. Inc.
When he’s not developing multimillion-dollar apartment buildings and warehouses, he’s devoting his time to Rudeen Racing, a sprint-car racing team, and The Rayce Rudeen Foundation. Founded in 2018, following the death of Kevin Rudeen's son, Rayce, the nonprofit supports organizations and programs that encourage a healthy and productive life free from addition.
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Seattle Pacific University.
What advice would you have for others looking to follow a career path similar to yours? Be willing to put in the hours and find mentors that will give you advice and listen to them.

Excluding the pandemic, what's the biggest business challenge you've overcome? Our biggest challenge is probably the increased regulations and costs imposed by governmental agencies.
If you had one wish for Spokane, what would it be? Spokane has so much potential. I guess my wish would be that Spokane could find a leadership group that could bring the city to the next level and be annexed into Idaho.
