Visit Spokane will host the Northwest Public Power Association Engineering & Operations Conference and Trade Show next week, from April 15-17, at the Spokane Convention Center.
The 1,200-attendee conference is expected to generate an economic impact of nearly $2 million, according to a Visit Spokane press release. Over 2,000 hotel room nights have been contracted for the event.
Described as the largest gathering of public power utilities in the Northwest, the convention will provide attendees with learning and networking opportunities and focus on the latest advancements in utilities.
Over 200 exhibitors will showcase equipment, technologies, and services at the trade show.
Visit Spokane, a nonprofit, is the official destination marketing organization for the city and is responsible for booking large-scale events.
