Visit Spokane will host the Washington Education Association Representative Assembly this week, from April 24-26, at the Spokane Convention Center.
The annual meeting is expected to bring in 1,200 attendees and generate an economic impact of over $700,000, according to a Visit Spokane press release. Over 1,900 hotel room nights have been contracted for the event.
The event will provide a forum for Washington Education Association members to collaborate, debate, and vote.
Visit Spokane is the official destination marketing organization for the city and is responsible for booking large-scale events.
