Pair of warehouse projects take shape in Valley

ABC Supply Co. to occupy one facility in June

April 24, 2025
Erica Bullock

Two commercial projects valued at $14 million are scheduled to bring about 140,000 square feet of warehouse space to vacant land along Barker Road in Spokane Valley.

A new $6.5 million warehouse facility currently under construction soon will be the new home of an American Builders & Contractors Supply Co. Inc. facility, says developer and property owner Steve Gray.

Beloit, Wisconsin-based roofing supplier ABC Supply Co. Inc., which is the trade name of American Builders & Contractors Supply Co. Inc., is relocating from its current facility at 1321 N. Thierman Road, in Spokane Valley, Gray says.

ABC Supply currently leases a 2 1/2-acre property from Gray, who owns Spokane Valley-based commercial property management and development company LMNG LLC, he says.

The 65,000-square-foot warehouse facility is located on five acres at 3715 N. Barker Road, and is expected to be available in June. Construction of the warehouse began about 10 months ago, he says.

ABC Supply will occupy the entire warehouse.

Representatives of ABC Supply Co. couldn't immediately be reached for comment.

Spokane Valley-based Divcon Inc. is the general contractor, and Architectural Ventures, also of Spokane Valley, designed the project.

The same design-build team is working with LMNG on a second large warehouse facility, located on 6 acres of vacant land directly north of the Barker Road warehouse, according to a building application issued in March by the city of Spokane Valley.

LMNG also owns that property, at 18514 E. Garland, on the southwest corner of Garland Avenue and Barker Road, Spokane County Assessor's information shows.

Gray declines to disclose plans for the second warehouse project. Permit information on file with the city of Spokane Valley shows the project involves construction of a 74,800-square-foot warehouse shell valued at $7.6 million.
