Spokane-based EXIT Real Estate Professionals has hired Lacey Brown as a real estate broker. Brown previously worked for Heart and Homes Northwest Realty.

Charles Pleau has joined Deer Park-based Knight Wall Systems as a material handler and inventory specialist. Pleau previously worked for Norfolk Iron & Metal, in Coeur d’Alene.Jaclyn-Jacot_web.jpg

Spokane Community College has named Jaclyn Jacot as vice president of instruction. Prior to SCC, Jacot served numerous youth-focused nonprofit agencies throughout Washington state.

The Inland Northwest Council of Scouting America has selected Maryann Edgington as scout executive. Edgington previously served as director of support services and deputy scout executive at the Indian Nations Council in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Whitworth University has appointed Erica Salkin as dean of its College of Arts & Sciences. A member of the university faculty since 2012, Salkin has served as interim dean since May 2024.


JD Lucas has joined Kiemle Hagood as an industrial salles and leasing broker. Before entering commercial real estate, Lucas owned and operated a tattoo studio.

Awards and Designations

Kayla Saunders, commercial real estate broker at NAI Black in Spokane, has received her CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.

The Australian International Brewing Awards in Melbourne, Australia, has recognized Spokane-based brewery No-Li Brewhouse with four brewing awards. No-Li’s Corner Coast Golden Ale, Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout, Cascade Fog Hazy IPA, and Big Juicy IPA were awarded bronze medals at the event.

Dr. Katherine Tuttle of Providence has been elected to the Association of American Physicians. Tuttle was recognized for her research in diabetes and chronic kidney disease. Only 70 physicians are elected to the association each year.

This May, Newport Hospital and Health Service’s Kat Campbell has received the Exemplary Clinical Educator Award. Campbell was recognized for her work with Whitworth University’s occupational therapy doctorate program.

Coeur d’Alen-based Clearwater Properties Realtor and broker Mike McCooey has received a Top Producer Award for 2024.
