Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners and SNAP Financial Access have named Amber Johnson as the organizations’ next CEO. Johnson currently serves as chief operating officer.
Rigo Alvarez has been hired by Spokane-based LSB Consulting Engineers PLLC as a graduate engineer. Alvarez previously worked as a junior structural design engineer for Nucor Vulcraft, a steel products producer based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Spokane-based Excelsior Wellness has hired Stephanie Stewart as chief advancement officer. Stewart previously served as director of philanthropy for Overlake Medical Center Foundation in Bellevue, Washington.




Spokane-based Washington Trust Bank has promoted five employees within its commercial and private banking divisions. On the private banking team, Garret Campbell has been promoted to vice president and relationship manager, and both Randy Casto and Toni Fredrick have been promoted to senior vice president and relationship manager positions. On the commercial banking team, both Brad Stevens and Bryce Wilkinson have been promoted to senior vice president and relationship manager roles.
Nathan Reed has joined the Spokane office of Seattle-based engineering firm Coughlin Porter Lundeen Inc. as senior civil project manager. Reed previously worked as an associate, civil discipline engineer for Seattle-based Coffman Engineers, which has a presence in Spokane.
Coeur d’Alene-based Mountain West Bank has hired Dee Furey as vice president branch manager III. Furey previously worked for Columbia Bank, in Coeur d'Alene, as vice president branch manager.
Spokane-based Storhaug Engineering Inc. has hired Daniel Clark as a senior consultant. Clark previously owned and operated Adams & Clark Inc., of Spokane.



Coeur d’Alene-based Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty has hired Michelle Davidian, Dan Davidian, Kate Russell, and Justin Keogh as real estate agents.
Awards & Designations



Vanessa Moos, Dan Springer, Christine Varela, and returning board member Yvonne Esquibel Smith have been nominated to fill expiring terms on Numerica Credit Union’s board of directors. Moos, Springer, and Varela were nominated for three-year terms, and Esquibel Smith was nominated for a two-year term.
The Washington State Public Works Board has awarded $6.4 million to infrastructure construction projects that protect public health and safety and enhance water quality throughout the state. In Spokane County, Carnhope Irrigation District No. 7 received $340,700 for replacing and adding new water mains being affected by the I-90 widening between South Havana Street and South Koren Road.
Downtown Spokane Partnership honored two local organizations at its 2026 State of Downtown event earlier this month. Lilac Bloomsday Association received the Legacy Award, in celebration of its 50th anniversary and regional impact. Clearwater Paper Corp. received the Impact Award, in recognition of its continued investment in the city’s downtown.
The Washington state Department of Commerce has announced $33.7 million in grants to support more than 100 electric vehicle charging ports across the state. Spokane Tribe Casino, SWTCH Energy Inc., and Tesla Inc. are the three recipients in Spokane County.
