The Spokane Convention Center will be renamed to the Spokane Convention Center Presented by the Spokane Tribe of Indians, beginning Sept. 1.
The Spokane Public Facilities District has signed a 10-year presenting rights sponsorship deal with the Spokane Tribe of Indians. The deal also includes a title sponsorship for the Exhibit Hall, which will become the Spokane Tribe of Indians Exhibit Hall.
“This partnership is a powerful reflection of our enduring connection to this land since time immemorial and our commitment to supporting the cultural, economic, and communal vitality of the region,” says Spokane Tribal Business Council Chair Greg Abrahamson in a press release. “We look forward to welcoming visitors from near and far to a space that celebrates collaboration, history, and the future we are building together.”
Funds from the presenting rights sponsorship will be reinvested back into the building, located at 334 W. Spokane Falls Blvd., in downtown Spokane.
The Spokane Convention Center brought in over $32 million dollars in economic impact to the city of Spokane in 2024, the release states. A total of five national conferences brought in over $7.5 million in economic impact, generating over 10,780 room nights in 2024.
