Spokane-based real estate brokerage company Kiemle Hagood has merged Moscow, Idaho-based Palouse Commercial Real Estate’s brokerage services into its operations in a move to expand its services to the Palouse region, says Casey Brazil, partner and director of brokerage at Kiemle Hagood. 

Brazil says the Spokane-based brokerage often has worked with Palouse Commercial when performing transactions in the Moscow area in the past, so it decided to approach Palouse about folding its  operations into Kiemle Hagood.

“We’ve always worked really well together,” he says, “They have a high level of ethics that we’ve always appreciated.” 

He adds that Palouse’s focus on multifamily and commercial real estate, along with its location in the Palouse region, made it a good fit as well. 

Palouse Commercial’s three existing employees, Justin Rasmussen, Shelley Bennett, and Warren Williams joined Kiemle Hagood following the merger. All three agents are licensed Realtors in both Washington and Idaho. 

There are no current plans to expand the location, but Brazil says, “As growth continues, I see expansion there.”

The Moscow office will provide property management and brokerage services for the Pullman, Moscow, Lewiston, and Clarkston areas, says Brazil.  

The addition of Palouse Commercial marks Kiemle Hagood’s fifth office location in the Inland Northwest. The office is located at 312 S. Washington, in Moscow, and began operating under the Kiemle Hagood name this month.

Palouse Commercial was founded in 2010 by Shelley Bennett, who sold the company to Justin Rasmussen in April 2018.

Kiemle Hagood was founded in 1971 and currently manages over 9 million square feet of space. Its staff specializes in commercial and multifamily sales and leasing, facility management, development and consulting, and tenant representation. It currently has about 170 employees. 

Kiemle Hagood also has offices in Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Kennewick, and Missoula.
