Convenience store, gas station opens at River Ridge

Full Stop, a new deli, beverage store, and gas station in northwest Spokane, is planned to open in two phases beginning this month.

To be located at 4417 W. Wellesley, in the River Ridge Shopping Center, the 11,800 square-foot-space was slated to open in mid-April, with the gas station to open by the end of May, says owner Tarlochan Singh.

Singh says Russ Page, of Spokane-based Russell C. Page Architects PS, designed improvements for the space, while Singh worked on shelving and other additions.

Singh says the convenience store will sell beer, wine, liquor, tobacco products, and groceries. The deli will offer Chester’s Chicken, sandwiches, salads, soups, and vegetarian items. Several tables inside, near the deli, will seat about 10 people, Singh says.

Other alcohol products to be carried include sake, ciders, gin, brandy, and rum. Some products will be imported from Germany, Belgium, and India, he says.

Groceries will include standard convenience store fare such as perishable foods, frozen foods, ice cream, and slushed-ice drinks, Singh says.

Full Stop will have 12 employees, including several of Singh’s family members, he says.
