Heavenly Hair Salon opens on North Side

~

January 17, 2019

A new hair salon called Heavenly Hair LLC has opened in a 1,500-square-foot leased space at 6704 N. Nevada, on Spokane’s North Side.

The shop, which opened in early December, is owned and operated by Coeur d’Alene native and licensed hair stylist Brittani Van Klaveren.

“The one thing I wanted to do was be different than any place around Spokane,” says Van Klaveren. “So, I decided to start my own high-end salon that offers affordable prices and takes walk-ins as well as appointments.”

Van Klaveren says the space, which was formerly a yogurt shop, has been remodeled to feature a more open layout.

“We offer haircuts, colors, perms, wash and blow dries,” she says. “We cater to all ages, from younger children to older adults, and offer discounts for seniors, students, and servicemen.”

Although the shop currently employs just one stylist, Van Klaveren says she hopes to hire as many as seven additional employees by the end of 2019.

“We’re doing well so far and have several monthly specials planned for the coming months,” she says.
