BeYoutiful opens store in River Park Square

Jessica Veselka, the owner of BeYoutiful Bath Bombs & More, has opened a new shop on the second floor of the River Park Square shopping mall at 808 W. Main.

Veselka’s first store, the original BeYoutiful shop, opened last year on the first floor of Spokane’s NorthTown Mall.

At that location, she uses part of the 1,300-square-foot space to sell her line of all-natural skin care bath bombs and shares the rest with nine other local bath and beauty businesses.

Veselka says the new space is a similar size to the NorthTown shop and includes many of the same vendors.

“We weren’t necessarily looking to expand, but River Park Square approached us and we decided it would be a good fit,” she says. “This store has some new vendors, but many of them are the same as our first location to make it easier for our customers to shop for their favorite items at both locations.”

Veselka says the two stores share a total of eight employees, who rotate shifts at each. She says one of the only differences between the two stores is that their products are laid out a bit differently.

“At NorthTown, we chose to arrange products by vendor, with each one having their own section of the space,” she says. “For River Park Square, we thought it might be easier for customers to shop if we arranged by product.”

While the River Park Square store is technically the BeYoutiful’s second location, Veselka says she did allow a spin-off of sorts, named BeYoutiful Too, to open in August at 327 W. Third.

“BeYoutiful Too is more of a salon with a smaller boutique area featuring items from local vendors,” she says. “That store is operated by one of our vendors, Robin Peltier, through a licensing agreement.”
