Construction is underway on a 3,000-square-foot building at 1216 S. Grand Blvd., on Spokane’s South Hill, that will be the new headquarters for Fulcrum Financial Group LLC, says Sarah Lynn Carlson, the company’s owner.

Fulcrum Financial Group currently operates out of about 1,200 square feet of office space in a multitenant facility on the southeast corner of 14th Avenue and Grand Boulevard, says Carlson.

The building has been under construction since summer, and she estimates it will be completed in February.

“My hope is that, in March, we’ll be relocated,” she says.

Mercier Architecture & Planning, of Spokane Valley, is the architect, and Yost Gallagher Construction LLC, of Spokane, is the contractor.

Carlson declines to disclose a construction cost, however, a building permit application on file with the county lists the project value at $341,400.

The larger space will provide room for the firm to grow, says Carlson. Fulcrum Financial Group was established in 1997 and currently has five employees. About 600 square feet of the new building will be for residential use.
