Cheney Public Schools is making progress on the development of a new $36 million elementary school that will increase student capacity and provide much-needed public gathering spaces on the West Plains. 

The Washington state Department of Transportation is planning a $1.4 million interior remodel of its traffic management center. 

The second phase of construction is underway at Greenacres Park, in Spokane Valley, and is expected to be completed by mid-to-late summer.
