Spokane Home Builders Association's Fall Festival of Homes kicks off

Annual event showcases community homebuilders

September 27, 2018

Over the next two weekends, the Spokane Home Builders Association will hold its 14th annual Fall Festival of Homes, says Joel White, executive director of the association.

The festival will feature 30 homes throughout Spokane County built by 20 builders, which will be open to the public to tour, says White. Festival hours will be 10 a.m.-5p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Sept. 28 through Sept. 30 and Oct. 5 through Oct. 7.

This year’s host sites are Eagle Ridge, in southwest Spokane; Elk Ridge Heights and Morning Side Heights, both in Spokane Valley; River District, in Liberty Lake; and Deer Park Meadows, in Deer Park.

White says the new home construction tour is a free event and “a chance for our builders to open newly constructed homes … it’s really a chance to go look at them.”

Host sites will provide magazine-style tour programs describing details and features of the homes along the tour.

Many of the homes are priced between $350,000 and $550,000. Builders and developers include Viking Homes, Condron Homes LLC, Morse Western Homes LLC, Paras Homes LLC, and Greenstone Corp.

White says this year’s festival showcases two or three homes with a more modern style and the Bella Terra Gardens community, a new townhome development.

“It’s exciting that we’re seeing some different styled homes being built in Spokane,” he says.
