BeYoutiful's second shop opens on Third

Jessie Veselka, the owner of BeYoutiful Bath Bombs & More, says she has opened a second location, called BeYoutiful Too, in the newly remodeled Third & Washington building, at 327 W. Third.

Veselka opened the original BeYoutiful shop last year on the first floor of Spokane’s NorthTown Mall.

At that location, she uses part of the 1,300-square-foot space to sell her line of all-natural skin care bath bombs and shares the rest with nine other local bath and beauty businesses.

Veselka says her friend Robin Peltier is operating the Third Avenue shop under license. Peltier is a Spokane cosmetologist who also owns Clementine & Agnes, one of the businesses that started at the shared space at NorthTown.

“My initial plan for this business was always a local, all-natural salon and boutique space,” says Veselka. “That wasn’t possible at our NorthTown location, but this space was ideal for us to achieve that.”

“I didn’t want to start a second location on my own too soon,” she adds. “This way, I can serve as Robin’s mentor and business partner, and if the business continues to grow, we could potentially make it into a franchise.”

BeYoutiful Too, which is scheduled to open this week, occupies a 630-square-foot leased space that’s shared by a new selection of local artisans looking to sell their products.

“So far we have eight new artisans committed to the space—and more we’re talking to,” says Peltier. “We still offer bath bombs and makeup, but this location also includes a custom makeup bar and a lipstick bar.”

Peltier says the hair salon portion has three stylists, and she hopes to add two employees to help with the sale of cosmetics and gifts.

“Clementine & Agnes will be able to do packaging and custom colors at this location,” she says. “This space also allows us to host some private parties and do-it-yourself style classes, which wasn’t as feasible in the mall setting.”
