Affiliates of Liberty Lake-based real estate development company Greenstone Corp. are erecting three restaurant buildings with a combined construction valuation of $1.2 million in the Kendall Yards urban village development northwest of downtown Spokane.

The affiliates, North Gorge Commercial Partners LLC, Bridgeway Apartments LLC, and Riverfront Properties LLC, are developing respectively projects named Yards Bruncheon and Wandering Table, both on the north side of Summit Boulevard, and Veraci Pizza, on the south of side of Summit.

Adam Jones, commercial project manager for Greenstone, says Adam Hegsted, currently the executive chef at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel, near Worley, Idaho, will lease two of the spaces where he plans to operate Yards Bruncheon and Wandering Table.

Yards Bruncheon will be located at 1248 W. Summit, east of the Washington state Court of Appeals building, which is at 500 N. Cedar.

The planned 2,060-square-foot structure has a permit valuation of $275,000, and the restaurant is expected to open in mid-February, Jones says.

Wandering Table will be located in a 2,500-square-foot space at 1242 W. Summit, next to the Highline Lofts building, and will share a seasonal outdoor dining area with Yards Bruncheon. Wandering Table’s permit valuation is $325,000, and the restaurant is scheduled to open in the spring, Jones says.

Yards Bruncheon is envisioned as a breakfast and lunch restaurant, and the Wandering Table will serve dinner and cocktails, he says.

Veraci Pizza will take up half of a $602,000, 4,800-square-foot restaurant building under construction at 1333 W. Summit, next to a multitenant building that was constructed last year and is partially occupied by Central Food, which was the first eatery to open in Kendall Yards.

Seth and Laura Carey, who own the Spokane-area operations of Veraci, a Seattle-based mobile artisan pizza maker, will lease the storefront space in Kendall Yards, Jones says. The restaurant is expected to open in the spring.

Greenstone is still seeking a tenant for the other half of the Veraci structure.

Kilgore Construction Inc., of Colbert, is the contractor for all three projects. Nystrom Olson designed the Veraci Pizza and Yards Bruncheon structures, and Greenstone designed the Wandering Table building in-house, Jones says.
