New owner now operating car wash on Monroe Street

Fresh paint, upgraded lighting, security cameras among upgrades at site

K&J Properties C LLC, of Medical Lake, has bought the property and other assets of the former Bob-O-Lyn Car Wash, at 3121 N. Monroe, and the facility has been improved and renamed Monroe Street Power Wash., says John Hilzendeger, a principal in K&J.

Monroe Street Power Wash has five self-service bays and an automated bay, which now operates 24 hours a day, Hilzendeger says. The facility has been updated with fresh paint, additional lighting, upgraded vacuums, and security cameras.

The car wash also has been upgraded to accept credit cards, he says.

Monroe Street Power Wash has four employees, Hilzendeger says.

Craig Hunter and Rob Kannapien, both of Coeur d'Alene-based real estate brokerage Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Commercial Realty, handled the transaction.

<b><center>Retail</center></b>

<b>Polished</b>, a new Coeur d'Alene nail salon, has leased 600 square feet of floor space in the Charlotte's Web Building, at 206 E. Indiana, in Coeur d'Alene. Craig Hunter and Rob Kannapien, both of Coldwell Banker Commercial Schneidmiller Realty, handled the transaction.

<b>Mihara Holdings LLC</b>, the Spokane Valley real estate holding arm for Spokane Organic & Hydroponic Supply, has bought a building with 6,600 square feet of floor space formerly occupied by Northwest Sign Supply Inc., at 15916 E. Sprague, for a third outlet. Mark Lucas and Tracy Lucas, both of Kiemle & Hagood Co., handled the transaction.


<b>Spokane Organic & Hydroponic Supply's</b> other stores are at 8701 N. Division and 4823 E. Sprague.

<b>Spokane Discount LLC</b> has bought the 35,400-square-foot building formerly occupied by Broadway Splicing & Supply, at 4001 E. Broadway, and plans to expand there. James S. Black III, of NAI Black, and Guy Byrd, of Cornerstone Property Advisors LLC, handled the transaction.

<b><center>Investment & Redevelopment</center></b>

<b>Mark L. Johnson</b>, owner of the <b>Servpro of South & West Spokane County</b> water - and fire -damage restoration franchise, has bought a vacant 9,600-foot-structure formerly occupied by H & B Superior Metals Inc., at 421 N. Sycamore, and plans to move a Servpro office there from smaller quarters at 3627 E. Olive. Jim Orcutt and Earl Engle, both of NAI Black, handled the transaction.

The <b>Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority</b> has bought 5.5 acres of land on the west side of Hayford Road just south of the St. Johns Hardware & Implement Co. outlet, to add to the tribe's existing contiguous real estate holdings in Airway Heights. Guy Byrd, of Cornerstone Property Advisors LLC, and James Quigley, of Kiemle & Hagood Co., handled the transaction.

The <b>Hayden Urban Renewal Agency</b> has bought a 1,900-square-foot building originally occupied by a service station at 9582 N. Government Way, in Hayden, Idaho, and plans to raze the structure to make room for a public parking lot.

<b>Justin Roscoe</b>, of Springfield, Mo., has bought as an investment a 3,800-square-foot building at 118 N. Fourth, in Coeur d'Alene. Craig Hunter and Rob Kannapien, both of Coldwell Banker Commercial Schneidmiller Realty, handled the transaction.
