The Spokane Home Builders Association recently announced the people's choice award winners in its eighth annual Fall Festival of Homes.

In the under $200,000 category, Lewis Construction & Development Inc., of Spokane, won the people's choice award for a one-story, three-bedroom home with 1,200 square feet of living space and an attached two-car garage, listed at $164,900. The home is located at 1309 N. Robie Lane in the Pine Valley Estates development in Spokane Valley.

Strahl Construction Inc., of Spokane, took home the award in the $200,000-$259,999 category for a one-story, three-bedroom home with 1,600 square feet of living space and a two-car garage, listed at $255,900. That home is located at 14416 E. Fifth, in the Fourth Avenue Estates subdivision in Spokane Valley.

Split Diamond Construction Co., of Spokane, won the award in the $260,000-$299,999 category for a two-story, five-bedroom home with 3,100 square feet of living space and an attached three-car garage, listed at $299,900, at 607 W. Willapa Avenue, in the Overlook at Qualchan development in south Spokane.

Strahl Construction received the award in the $300,000-$358,999 category for a two-story, three-bedroom home with 2,500 square feet of finished living space and an attached three-car garage, listed at $329,900, at 1620 S. Lloyd Lane on the South Hill.

Morse Western Homes LLC, of Liberty Lake, earned the people's choice award in the $359,000-$459,999 category for a two-story, four-bedroom home with 3,400 square feet of living space and an attached three-car garage, listed for $439,900, at 12227 E. San Juan, in the Elk Ridge Heights subdivision south of Spokane Valley.

Ted Miller Construction Inc., of Spokane, won in the $460,000-and-up category for a two-story, six-bedroom home with 5,100 square feet of living space and an attached four-car garage, listed at $649,900, at 1108 N. River Ridge in the River Run development in northwest Spokane.

Homes were selected through ballot forms cast at home sites during the scattered home show, which ran Sept. 28-30 and Oct. 5-7, says Joel White, SHBA executive officer.

SHBA is a building-industry trade group with members in seven Eastern Washington counties. The Festival of Homes is a collaboration of homebuilders, specialty contractors, building-material suppliers, lenders, and real estate professionals.
