Chiropractor buys building, moves North Side practice

Spokane Spine Center now is located a block east of former location

October 25, 2012

Spokane Spine Center, a chiropractic clinic that also offers medical and relaxation massage, has bought and moved into a two-story, 7,200-square-foot office building at 124 E. Rowan that formerly was known as the North Spokane Health Center.

The clinic purchased the building for $950,000 and moved several weeks ago into most of the second floor after remodeling the building's interior, says owner Robert Haddad.

One other tenant, North Spokane Family Vision, occupies about 1,800 square feet of space on the building's first floor, along with Therasport Northwest.

About 1,800 square feet of space on the main floor of the building also is available for lease.

Located, near Holy Family Hospital, the building is about a block east of Spokane Spine Center's former location, a 2,000-square-foot space at 12 E. Rowan, where it had operated for seven years.

Haddad says the expansion will allow the practice to hire a medical doctor specializing in the neck and back. He says he plans to fill that position by the beginning of next year.

Spokane Spine Center currently employs seven people, including Haddad.

Kevin Edwards, of Hawkins Edwards Inc., handled the Spine Center's purchase of the building.
