The $44.6 million water-reclamation project for the city of Airway Heights is coming on line. Located at 12405 W. 21st, the plant uses a series of technologies to treat wastewater to Class A-plus water reclamation and reuse standards, so that the treated water can recharge back into the West Plains aquifer. The Spokane Valley office of Portland-based Century West Engineering Corp. designed the system.
