Kootenai County home sales climb in January

Median price rises 11.3% to $528K

A total of 145 single-family homes were sold in Kootenai County in January, up nearly 30% compared with home sales in the year-earlier month, according to data released by the Coeur d’Alene Regional Realtors.

The median sales price for Kootenai County single-family homes sold in January was $528,000, up 11.3% compared with the year-earlier month, according to the Coeur d’Alene Multiple Listing Service data.

Active residential listings at month-end totaled 715, up 13.5% from January 2024.

Homes sold in January were on the market an average of 118 days, roughly level with that of homes sold in the year-earlier month.
