Spokane Club names new general manager

Longtime hotel executive to begin new role March 31

March 17, 2025
Journal of Business Staff

The Spokane Club has hired Dean Feldmeier as its next general manager.

The longtime hotel executive will assume his new role March 31, according to a letter sent to members by the club’s board of trustees.

Feldmeier will fill the void left when Derek Intinarelli died in December, just a few months after being named general manager.

A Spokane Club member for over 20 years, Feldmeier has spent most his career working for global hospitality company Hilton. Most recently, he served as general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Spokane City Center, at 322 N. Spokane Falls Court.

Feldmeier started out in a convention services role and worked his way up to director of brand sales at Hilton’s global headquarters. He has worked at multiple Hilton-managed properties throughout his career.

In 2002, Feldmeier relocated to Spokane to help the DoubleTree with an expansion. He later accepted a regional position in California but returned to his general manager role at the Spokane DoubleTree in 2015.

As the Journal reported in January, the 375-room DoubleTree was acquired for $35 million by Spokane Hotel LLC, an affiliate of San Francisco-based commercial real estate development and investment company JMA Ventures LLC.

The Spokane Club, which is located downtown at 1002 W. Riverside, was founded in 1890.
